Joomla search returns all Grumpy Contacts no matter what

Problem:

Searching for any text on the site at all returns all entries from grumpy contacts. This will happen if you have the search plugin enabled but have configured all fields in Grumpy Contacts as unsearchable.

Resolution:

If you really don't want Grumpy Contacts to be part of the Joomla search engine, disable the plugin. Otherwise, set at least one field searchable. This has been corrected in version 1.1.0a so that no Grumpy Contacts results will be returned when configured this way.

   

Search Plugin Fatal Error

Problem:

Attempting to limit the Joomla! search without Grumpy Contacts will result in the the following fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function plgsearchgcontactareas() in /xxx/xxx/public_html/plugins/search/gcontact.php on line 55

Resolution:

Fixed in version 1.1.0a - download the latest version.
